Carol RhoadesCarol RhoadesCarol Rhoades is a 17 year class A member of the PGA and the LPGA and brings a wealth of experience to the instructional arena. Teaching, coaching and mentoring a vast array of students, Carol has designed her instructional sessions for the individual and their desire for improvement.

A 17 year Class A member of the PGA of America and the LPGA; Carol brings a wealth of experience to the instructional arena. Currently holding the position of Head Golf Professional at Stony Creek Golf Course Carol dedicates the majority of her time developing her teaching skills and the playing skills of her patrons. An accomplished high school, college and amateur player Carol credits her playing career as the cornerstone for her desire to teach. Holding a BS in Education and a MS in Administration the constant pursuit of learning is paramount in her philosophy of teaching. Carol has worked for numerous master professionals and Hall of Fame members that have shaped her career including Dr. Barbara Smith, AJ Bonar, Chuck Brasington, Dick Smith, Dr. Jim Suttie and Bob Reith but credits all of her students as the motivation for excellence.

Carol is an active member of the professional golf community serving on the Illinois PGA Board of Directors, The Illinois PGA Foundation Board of Governors, and Chair of the Growth of the Game Committee, Illinois PGA Education Committee, LPGA Midwest Advisor Coordinator, LPGA National Club Professional Advisory Committee, and Hall of Fame Committee and is a member of the PGA Faculty.

All instructional sessions are based on a student-centered approach that prescribes not to a specific theory but a model formulated from the individual’s unique characteristics. These unique qualities from the physical, mental, cognitive and emotional worlds are combined into the individual model based on Laws and Principles that instruction premise. From beginner to professional the avenue for learning is established with this model.

While utilizing the Learning Center at Stony Creek including covered hitting bays, indoor video studio and golf simulators Carol also calls The White Pines Golf Dome home in the winter months. Weather a beginning lesson, a tune-up, speaking engagement, and golf trip, fitting session or game improvement session we can secure the location. Lesson Fees: do not include the purchase of range balls or mat times
Adult (18-60) $40 per half hour $80 per hour
Jr/Sr $35 per half hour $70 per hour
Custom packages available upon request

 

  • All Fees are due upon arrival at the golf club
  • No shows will be charged
  • Tee time may be scheduled 8 days in advance online
  • A minimum of 2 players are required to make a tee on-line
  • Single players are encouraged to make a tee time by phone. Please call the golf shop at (708) 857-2433
  • Up to 8 players may make a tee time on-line
  • Group outings of 9 or more players require a written contract and are accepted up to a year in advance by speaking to the Head Golf Professional
