Senior League

2011 Senior League Information

Our Senior League plays on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Tee times are from 7:00 to 10:00 am. Sign up for the league starts on April 1st, 2011 at 9 am. Tee times are given on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in signing up please come to the Pro Shop on April 1. If you have any questions, please call 708-857-2433.

The Senior League beginning of the year meeting will be at 9 am on the following days:

Tuesday, April 12th - for people golfing on Tuesdays
Wednesday, April 13th - for people golfing on Wednesdays

We will be taking the $25 registration fee at this time. If the weather is accomodating, we urge you to play a round after the meeting to get those winter kinks out of your swing. We have a special promotion going on from April 1st - April 22nd. You and any of your friends who may be interested in joining our league can play weekdays during this time from 7 am - 2 pm for the following prices:

9 holes walking or riding $10.00
18 holes walking or riding $15.00

The senior league plays 9 holes and switches from the front 9 to the back 9 every week. The first day of actual play will be April 26th and April 27th. You will be starting the day and tee time you requested. The price for league play is $14.00 walking for 9 holes. The league cart fee is $6.00. If you would like to play an additional 9 holes, the fee is $4.00 to walk and an additional $1.00 for the cart.

Policies

U.S.G.A. rules govern play unless modified by local rules. Only persons 12 years and older are allowed on the course unless accompanied by an adult. Junior residents need to present an ID to receive discount (school ID, library card, etc.) All golfers must have a golf bag and at least 3 golf clubs. Non-golfing spectators are not allowed on the golf course except during approved special events. Rangers and authorized Park District agents have the authority to enforce all rules and regulations. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the golf course unless purchased at the clubhouse. No personal coolers. The sale and service of all merchandise will be regulated by the management of the golf course. No private golf carts other than those available at Stony Creek Golf Course will be permitted on the golf course. All golfers agree to assume their own liability. This applies to hitting golf balls astray and causing personal or property damage. Each golfer agrees to hold, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Oak Lawn Park District. Its agents and employees from any and all liability arising from golfers usage of the golf course. Violation of rules, regulations, golf etiquette, and Park District ordinances of abuse of the golf course is cause to deny use of the facility, present and future. All rules, regulations and policies of Oak Lawn Park District apply unless superseded by specific golf policies or addressed otherwise. (Dress code at the golf course shall be that all golfers will wear proper golf attire, i.e.: shirts with no collars (no profanity) absolutely no swim-wear, tank tops, or baseball spikes allowed.) All players must register in golf shop. Please repair all ball marks, replace and repair divots and rake bunkers. Rangers will monitor golf course etiquette. Please observe all golf course rules and regulations regarding course play. The Oak Lawn Park District and it's employees are not responsible for the loss of or damage to personal property or for injuries. Anyone not following the rules of damaging the course will be required to leave the premises. Golfers causing personal property damage or personal injury on the course or adjoining property are responsible for said damage.
